On the weekend of Shabbat "Bo", January 19-20, 2018, we will celebrate our congregation's 60th anniversary with services accompanied by our choir and with the presence of the leaders of our movement.
Please put the dates in your calendar and honor Har-El with your presence that weekend.

A Special Request from Our Members – Ushering on Friday Evenings:

We are turning to all of the members of Har-El with a request to volunteer as ushers on Friday evenings at our synagogue: welcoming our guests and handing out prayerbooks. Our hope is to create a list of volunteers who can fill this position on a rotating basis.  Our administrator, Shany, will coordinate the list.  Please contact her promptly by clicking "reply" to this message, by email: or by mobile: 053-6499584.
Many thanks in advance for helping out for this important role!

Hi Cantor Evan,
Thank you to you and Rabbi Ada for making Zachary’s Bar Mitzvah so meaningful. It was an unforgettable day. It felt like we had known both of you for many years and not just a day in the case of Rabbi Ada and a bit longer for you. The day was everything we had hoped for and more. You brought such warmth to the service. We look forward to staying in touch and to seeing you on our next trip to Israel.
Best regards,
